Getting over it

There was a young lady and a young man spending time together out in the pines, when they came across a difficult spot in the road that looked unable to go through.  It was a massive blockway, and the lady didn’t know how they were going to make it through.  It even looked quite dangerous, but the young man climbed and jumped to the other side as if it was no problem at all.  “Come on,” he said, “I can get you over it.”
“Are you serious?” she asked.  “I don’t see any possible way of getting over it.”
“Well,” the young man continued, “I’m not coming back that way, so if you want to keep going with me then you’ll just have to trust me and take my hand.  I won’t let you go, I promise.”
“How can you make such a promise?” she asked still unsure and hesitant.
“Because I’ve been this way before and I know what I’m doing.”
Still afraid, the young lady knew that if she wanted to continue her walk with the young man who she loved with all her might, she had to have faith in him and take his hand.  If she didn’t, they would no longer be able to continue their walk.  Finally she grabbed his hand tightly, and he smiled ever so lovingly.  He enjoyed her grip on his hand, tightening his own.  As they made their way across the blockway, she slipped at times, but he never let her go, assuring her over and over again that he would not break his promise to her.  It took a little while, but they both finally made it over the blockway, and when she looked back at it, she understood how she would have never made it without him.  She learned to trust the young man she loved so much and her relationship with him grew stronger.  They continued on their walk, ready for the next blockway that may stand in their way.
The young lady is me, and the young man is Jesus.

God blew my mind!

I know that I shouldn’t be surprised when God answers my prayer, but I must admit that this one BLEW MY MIND!  I have been praying for God’s leadership and patience in my novels being discovered.  I received an email a few weeks back from Tate Publishing Company saying that they were interested in publishing my novel.  I was so excited!  I got on my knees and praised God!  I have signed a contract with them and will soon be working with them in getting my novel published.  God is so good to me, and I am so undeserving.  I GIVE HIM ALL THE GLORY!
